Margaret is one of my favorite quilting customers. Her piecing is always perfect and she brings in a bunch of quilts for us and says call when they are ready.





She did this beautiful Sunbonnet Sue that she wanted customed and asked for butterflies in the borders. I did a stipple around each Sunbonnet and into the first border sashing. In the outer border, I did some butterflies than went back in and added them to the 9patch blocks in all the sashings.

Cats seem to pick

The strangest places to sleep don't they? Chai was fascinated with my clothes drying rack the other day and I couldn't keep him off of it.

3 weeks until Christmas

And we ran out of batting. We usually make it right up to Christmas. Last year Rhonda and I ended up buying batting so we could complete our Christmas presents.

Love this Christmas quilt. Julie also cut out ponsettias and appliquéd them into the white sections of the quilt.

Lynn's custom

I did this quilt for Lynn earlier in the month. Lynn's entire house is decorated in pastels for Christmas; it really is lovely.

Lynn is planning on scalloping in the edges of the quilt and add on all the embellishments. I did stipple/meander quilting in the blocks. I did a wavy meander using my favourite wavy ruler on the block border instead of stitch in the ditching. And in the borders, I quilted snowflakes.

A new pattern by WillowLeaf Studios. It was perfect for this latest quilt done by Hamels Quilt Store. This kit is called Frosted Memories; I love the fabrics used in this. So wintery.
